The 2021 Bataleon The Jam snowboard is a power packed one board quiver for the aggressive freerider. Designed to be ridden hard and fast, The Jam features a powerful Dynamic Camber profile for premium pop and response, a stiff flex for stability at lightning speeds, and an ultra fast base that hits blistering speeds and leaves everyone else in your dust. The 3BT shape of The Jam gives you smoother, more catch free turns and better float in powder, so you can tear apart the powder and carve up the groomers with speed and grace, without needing to switch boards.

Rider Level: Intermediate – Advanced

Board Type: All Mountain Freestyle / Freeride

Camber Type: Dynamic Camber

All 3BT boards have a positive camber profile but vary in the degree of camber and uplift across the width of the board. The Jam has a Dynamic Camber profile for powerful edge hold, strong pop, and predictable response.

Flex: 7/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)

A mid-stiff flex for strong presses, stability at speed, responsive turns, and powerful pop.

Shape: Directional Twin

Bataleons Directional twin boards have a twin sidecut and contact area and a directional outline. They are perfectly balanced for all-mountain freestyle riding.

Freestyle 3BT

The most versatile type of 3BT, Freestyle 3BT features a medium centrebase with larger uplift in the edges, giving you more natural feeling turns and enhanced float in powder.

Sidekick

Sidekick dramatically increases the amount of uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, enhances float, and improves handling in rough terrain.

Core: Super Ultra Light Core

The Super Ultra Light Core features a 80-20 blend of Poplar and Paulownia woods, giving it the best strength to weight ratio in the Bataleon range.

D.R.S.T – The Dual Radial Super Tube upgrade features six hollow carbon core inserts parallel to the board radius for extra power transfer to the edge.

Carbon Stringers – This board has two carbon stringers running down the middle of the board from outside the inserts, putting extra lightweight power underfoot and through the centre of the board for better response and stability.

Triax Laminate – A 3-way fibreglass weave that strengthens the flex pattern and keeps the board light, strong, and responsive.

AirRide – The AirRide core additive dampens vibrations and makes riding smoother at high speeds. It’s like having a suspension system in your snowboard.

Base: Ultra Glide S

The Ultra Glide S base has maximum molecular content for a Sintered base, making it super tough and super fast.
